hi, i’m kira!

Before picking up the camera, I grew up in front of it. Photography was always a significant part of my family’s life. My mom was basically Internet famous before it was even a modern career, and with my dad, they documented our lives through digital and film photography. It was a passion that organically grew into a business, and I’ve never stopped being in awe of their teamwork and entrepreneurship. 

After almost a decade of photography experience, and working different full time jobs, I know I don’t want to stop taking pictures. It simply makes me happy. Not only does it have a sentimental place in my heart, but I’m overjoyed when clients tell me how happy my photos make them. A feeling where you see your faces (or products) through the display or upon receipt, followed moments of sincere happiness. My goal is to accentuate natural beauty and capture authentic moments. These days, especially with social media, insecurity and negativity can circulate our daily lives.. If all I do is make you feel confident and beautiful through my photography, that’s the real win to me.

A little more about me… I received my bachelor’s degree from UCSD in communication and business, currently work full time, and live in beautiful O’ahu, Hawaii. Although, I’m still a Southern California girl at heart. Some of my favorite images live on this site so please take a look! I don’t publicize my price list, but feel free to contact me and inquire. I encourage to invest in yourselves. It’s always worth it.

My grandfather always encouraged me to “be strong & courageous.” I want to empower others to feel the same - so keep your face towards the sun, and let’s create something beautiful.
